ALBUM PREVIEW: The Killers “Battle Born”
Be aware that this album is not available anywhere as of the writing of this article. The only song you can truly get your hands on is the single “Runaways” that was released on July 10th. This is, in my opinion, the weakest of the lead singles they’ve put out in their first four albums. Now before you tear me apart, I want to add that I still think this song is awesome and am thinking that the Killers upcoming album (titled Battle Born [Island] out 9/18 pre-order information is not available] is so deep singles-wise that they’re just getting you started. Mark my words that this is going to be a long album cycle for the Las Vegas quartet.

We’ve also heard another song called “The Rising Tide” that is also out in the wild, but I couldn’t find one with decent audio. If you do find one, hit me up and I’ll put it up here.
I hear an electronic rock band that grew up liking Joy Division, but really loves Bruce Springsteen. Let me know what you think here!
