March 2012 Releases
Get pumped about these releases coming out in March!
Lovedrug – Wildblood [The Militia Group] In Stores March 6th
The indie rock band from Canton, Ohio is celebrating its 10th year being together with its forthcoming “Wildblood” release. A very good live band and good bunch of dudes.
Delta Spirit – Delta Spirit [Rounder Records (NA), Decca Records (Outside NA), Dew Process (AUS)] In Stores March 13th
Combine a high level of musicianship with neo-soul rock and the San Diegan quintet just knows how to rock. Their last album Ode to Sunshine had a super song called “People Turn Around”, you can preview that here.
Say Anything – Anarchy My Dear [Equal Vision] In Stores March 13th
The Max Bemis led band hails from Los Angeles mostly. We just bumped into them in Silverlake and it seems all systems are go. They have a nice headlining tour including a SXSW appearance. Look for Charissa to review this one in a couple weeks.
The Ting Tings – Sounds from Nowheresville [Columbia] In Stores March 13th
I previewed this album last week and have been raving about it to everyone that will listen. Its a well rounded effort that highlights that bands do grow up. Of course, Pitchfork destroyed it.

The Shins – Port of Morrow [Aural Apothecary, Columbia] In Stores March 20th
The highly anticipated 4th studio album from The Shins comes out this month. The Albuquerque based band released “Simple Song” to glowing reviews in January. You can read our back story on them here.
The All American Rejects – Kids In The Street [Interscope, DCG] In Stores March 27th
Its hard to believe this band has been together, and quite formidable, for over almost 13 years. They have churned out hit after hit with songs like “Swing, Swing”, “Dirty Little Secret”, “Move Along”, “Gives You Hell”, and “The Wind Blows” over the past decade. “Beekeeper’s Daughter”, the first single off Kids hasn’t done to well out of the gate, but something tells me that they have other tracks ready to storm radio into the summer. This might be up for worst album cover ever. #wow
