Preview: Angel Olsen at Maxwell’s New Jersey, November 10th
Angel Olsen is set to highlight our night at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ Saturday November 10th. Maxwell’s made it through the storm unscathed but, did lose power for a few days. Come down for an early show, have a beer and/or maybe some great food!
Doors open at 7 for Angel’s first appearance at this storied venue. Pitchfork’s 8.0 album review of her latest, Half Way Home, uses words like magnificent, extraordinary and unequivocal. We cant wait! Rounding out the night will be The Project Matters supported Thomas Wesley Stern. Hailing from Jackson, New Jersey, their sound has recently been described as ‘…a polished nugget of folk, blues and roots, gently simmered in a cleverly classic Americana style…’ This night is destined to leave you with tunes in your head and a smile on your face.
