Get ready for September! Who will sell the most albums in week one?
Lets go over this ridiculous month right now:
Cat Power releases Sun, did you hear the lead track “Ruin” yet? Listen here. Deerhoof has Breakup Song ready to go September 4th. The same week Jens Lekman releases I Know What Love Isn’t. Listen to “Erica America” to preview.
Staying in the September 4th week are 3 more highly anticipated albums:
Stars – The North Preview: “Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It”
The Vaccines – The Vaccines Come of Age Preview: “No Hope”
Two Door Cinema Club – Beacon Preview: “Sleep Alone”
The week of September 11th brings some interesting releases from Bob Dylan (Tempest; 35th studio album!), the amazing Paper Route with The Peace of Wild Things (Check out “Better Life”) and The xx – Coexist with their summer minimal smash “Angels”.
Moving forward into some Billboard 200 albums:

P.S. I think Pink will sell the most albums of any of these artists in week one, with No Doubt biting at her heels. The Killers beat Muse rounding out the top 4. Just my guess!
